IC (integrated circuit), that is, an integrated circuit is a semiconductor manufacturing process, and many transistors, resistors, capacitors and other components are fabricated on a small single-crystal silicon wafer, and the multi-layer wiring or tunnel wiring method is used. Components are combined into a complete electronic circuit. It is represented in the circuit by the letters "IC" (also with the text symbol "N", etc.).
IC integrated circuit classification:
ICs can be divided into bipolar integrated circuits and field-effect integrated circuits according to the device type, and MOS-IC belongs to the latter.
ICs can be divided into three types: analog integrated circuits, digital integrated circuits and analog/digital hybrid integrated circuits according to the type of signal processing.
ICs can be divided into small-scale, medium-scale, large-scale, and ultra-large-scale integrated circuits according to their scale (that is, the number of search devices contained in them).
ICs can be divided into low-power integrated circuits and high-power integrated circuits according to their output power.
ICs can be divided into low-voltage integrated circuits and high-voltage integrated circuits according to their working voltages.
There are also low-power integrated circuits, microwave integrated circuits, and so on.
